How to Use Voodoo Dolls in Black Magic Rituals

The use and folklore of Voodoo dolls is a fascinating subject.  Voodoo dolls hold a legendary place in the lore of black magic spells.  Voodoo dolls can bring fabulous rewards to those who believe in their incredible powers. Voodoo dolls can help enrich your life and solve your problems.  Voodoo dolls can be used for white magick and love magick, but the majority of Voodoo dolls are used in hate and revenge witchcraft spells.

What is a Voodoo Doll?

A Voodoo doll is an effigy that represents the life force and spirit of a certain person.  The Voodoo doll can represent you (in white magic spells) or another person.  A Voodoo practitioner names the Voodoo doll for the target of the spell.  The named Voodoo doll is then used as a focusing tool for the Voodoo practitioner. Voodoo dolls utilize a magickal system known as sympathetic magick.

Voodoo dolls can be made of many materials including felt, cloth, straw, paper or wax. If the Voodoo practitioner has access to a piece of clothing from the victim, the doll can be made out of the clothes.  The material of the Voodoo doll doesn’t matter too much; the magick of the Voodoo doll comes from the power that the Voodoo practitioner infuses into it.

A Voodoo doll often uses symbolic colors. Green Voodoo dolls are used in witchcraft money spells; red Voodoo dolls are used in love spells. Of course, black Voodoo dolls are used in black magic spells.

It helps to have something personal from your target to personalize your voodoo doll with.  If you have a photograph of the mark or a small piece of his clothing, glue it onto the Voodoo doll. If you manage to harvest a few of their hairs from a brush, cut a small slit into the side of your Voodoo doll and insert the hairs.

Casting a Black Magic Voodoo Spell

You can cast the Voodoo spell yourself or pay a Voodoo practitioner to perform the black arts ritual.  If you want to cast the spell yourself, you will need to gather up some ritual supplies from an occult shop.  Spell supplies can be purchased at a New Age store or from an online retailer.

First you will need to select an appropriate Voodoo spell for your objective. There are thousands of free witchcraft and voodoo spells online or you can purchase a Voodoo spellbook from your local book store. Find a Voodoo spell that you will be comfortable casting. You can also cast a witchcraft spell that you’ve created yourself.

Most Voodoo Doll Spells Call For The Following Occult Supplies

  • A Voodoo Doll – if you are casting a black magic spell, get a black Voodoo doll
  • Pins and Needles
  • A Name Tag (I usually use a small square of parchment paper)
  • A Piece of String or Yarn
  • A Chant (you can find a black magic spell chant online or in withcraft spellbooks, but it is better if you come up with a personal chant written by you – A spell chant can be as simple as yelling an obscenity or screaming, “(Target’s Name) BE DAMNED! BE DAMNED!”  You can also make a chant more personal by including private details. A chant will help you focus your energies in the Voodoo spell.
  • Spell specific Voodoo Powders, Incense and Oils (use the type of witchcraft oils, incense and powders that the spell calls for)
  • Candles
  • A Piece of Cloth to Wrap Your Voodoo Doll In
  • An altar or work area (this can be as simple as a card table or your kitchen table) to perform the Voodoo spell on.

General Voodoo Doll Spell Directions

Set up some incense and light it on your witchcraft altar. The incense will provide the proper occult vibrations for your Voodoo spellwork.

Light some black candles and set them on your Voodoo altar.

Write the name of your target on the name tag and pin or glue it to the Voodoo doll.

Sprinkle the Voodoo doll with an occult powder. Crossing powder or Black Arts powder is a good choice for a black magic voodoo spell. Rub the powder into the Voodoo doll well.

Sprinkle a few drops of the black magic spell oil onto your Voodoo doll.  Use an occult oil like Black Arts Oil or Damnation Oil for black magic Voodoo spells.

Take the string or yarn and tie it around the waist of your Voodoo doll. Pull the cord tight and yell out your chant. Put a lot of feeling and emotion into your Voodoo chanting. Scream out your chant a total of 7 times.

Wrap your Voodoo Doll in the cloth and hide it. Never let anyone touch or see your Voodoo doll.  Don’t tell anyone about your Voodoo spell.  Extinguish your candles and incense.  Place all of your spell supplies in a hidden place.

Perform this ritual a total of 9 times. The spell will then be cast.

After the spell is complete, you can burn or bury your Voodoo doll.

There are many Voodoo spells that call for different methods of spellcasting. However, I find the above spell is a very powerful way of casting your Voodoo spell. You can add to the potency of the spell by personalizing it with your choice of spell oils and supplies.

How to Make a Money Drawing Hoodoo Mojo Bag

If you have been having bad luck financially, a money drawing mojo bag will help
you!

Things you’ll Need to Cast This Spell:

  • Small Cloth Bag with Drawstring
  • John the Conqueror Root
  • Small Green Feather
  • Green or Natural Magnetic Lodestone
  • Gold Magnetic Sand
  • Nutmeg
  • Buckeye
  • Five Finger Grass
  • Money Drawing Oil
  • Dollar Bill
  • Green Candle
  • Money Drawing Incense
  • Money Drawing Bath Herbs or Bath Salts

Instructions:

To make a genuine Southern money drawing mojo bag, you need to assemble all of the
ingredients on your altar or work area. Before beginning the mojo bag hoodoo ritual, bathe with the money drawing bath herb or salts to cleanse yourself.

Anoint the green candle with the money drawing oil. Light the green candle and
the money drawing incense.

Anoint each of the items with a dab of the Money Drawing oil. Hold each of the items in your hand while visualizing how much money you need and how receiving that money will make your life better. Imagine that you already have the money and see yourself spending it on nice things that will make you happy.

Wrap the dollar bill around the buckeye. Anoint with the money drawing oil. Place in the bag.

Place all of the remaining items in the bag and tie shut. Anoint the bag with some of the money drawing oil. Pass the bag through the smoke of the money drawing incense to consecrate it.

Carry the bag close to your body and do not let anyone see or touch it. Every week, sprinkle a few drops of the Money Drawing oil onto the bag to charge it and keep it working.

Note:
All of the charms needed for this mojo bag have powerful money drawing properties. Mojo Bags should always have an odd number of ingredients, so if you can’t find one of the items, eliminate two of them so you will have either 3, 5, 7, or 9 different charms in the bag.

How to Make Authentic Louisiana Van Van Hoodoo Oil

Van Van oil is used in many Voodoo and hoodoo rituals. This oil is used in
rituals to draw love. It is used in wishing spells to obtain a secret desire. It
can be used in any candle ritual and works especially well on 7 knob white
wishing candles. It can be used to uncross someone from a hex or curse. It can
be rubbed on charms, mojo bags and talismans to increase their
power.

You’ll be amazed at how easy it is to make your own powerful Van Van oil with this formula. This formula is an old New Orleans recipe that will give great results.

Things You’ll Need:

  • 1/2 ounce glass bottle with cap
  • 1/2 ounce Almond Oil
  • Lemongrass Oil
  • Vetivert Oil
  • Citronella Oil
  • Dried Lemongrass Leaves

How to Make Van Van Oil:

Place the Lemongrass leaves in the glass bottle. A few pinches should do.

Add a few droppers of the Lemongrass oil to the bottle. Add a dropper full of Vetivert
oil, followed by a dropper full of Citronella oil. It is not necessary to dye Van Van Oil.

Fill the rest of the bottle up with the Almond Oil. The almond oil acts as a carrier oil. Shake the bottle well to blend everything. Let the oil sit in a dark cabinet for at least a week to blend the different oils properly.

Note: Make sure you label the bottle so you’ll remember the contents. It’s a real drag to do a spell if you aren’t totally sure what the oil is!

How to Cast a Love Spell Using a Red Image Candle

Image Candles are similar to voodoo dolls as they are shaped in a person’s image. Red image candles are very potent in drawing love to you. These candles are available in either male or female styles.

What You Will Need:

  • Red Image Candle, either male or female, depending on your target
  • Love Drawing occult oil
  • Parchment Paper
  • Love Drawing Incense

How to Cast the Spell:

Purchase a red image candle in the sex of your intended target. You can purchase these candles at any occult supply shop. They are available online as well.

Cleanse the candle before using with mineral oil, baby oil or lemon scented furniture polish. Dry the candle with a polishing cloth.

Next you will dress the candle with your love drawing oil. Almost any kind of love drawing oil will work with this spell. Many people prefer to use Come to Me or Return to Me oil. Anoint the candle with the oil from the bottom up to the top while visualizing your desired result. If you desire a particular person, imagine them coming to you.

Write the name of the person you desire on the parchment paper. Dab a bit of the love drawing oil on the paper and place the paper under the candle. If you don’t have a piece of parchment paper, you can use a torn piece of a brown grocery bag or even carve the name of the person into the side of the candle.

Light the love drawing incense and place the incense burner next to the candle. Light the candle. Do not use a match during a hoodoo ritual; use only a butane later or
another candle to light the image candle. Using a match can bring unwanted evil entities into your home.

Visualize your desire outcome while the candle and incense are burning. Picture yourself receiving the lover you desire. Sit in quiet contemplation. When the candle is consumed, the love drawing hoodoo ritual is complete.

Notes:

  • You can do this spell in one night or over a series of nights.
  • Never leave a lit candle unattended; if you can’t be right there, put it out and resume the ritual the following night.

Written for students and general readers, this book is a convenient introduction to hoodoo, voodoo, and conjure.

The volume begins by defining and classifying elements of these spiritual traditions. It then provides a wide range of examples and texts, which illustrate the richness of these beliefs and practices. It also examines the scholarly response to hoodoo, voodoo, and conjure, and it explores the presence of hoodoo, voodoo, and conjure in popular culture. The volume closes with a glossary and bibliography. Product Description

The first tarot to celebrate an African-American culture, this book and 79-card deck capture both the spirit and the imagery of Voodoo's African, West Indian, and Catholic influences. Ancient and earth-honoring, Voodoo's practices take on different forms specific to time and place, but its essence remains focused on the loa--the potent spiritual forces of Voodoo that are manifested directly through human beings and their actions.

The authors draw strong parallels between the Waite and Thoth Tarots, the Kabalistic Tree of Life, and the Voodoo tradition as it is practiced in New Orleans. Just as the major and minor arcana of the Tarot represent the archetypes of the human psyche and the natural forces of our world, so do the loa of Voodoo embody the primal energies of the universe. With a variety of spreads and readings, the authors show how the Tarot can be an idea channel through which the loa exercise their powers to teach, advise, and initiate the serious student into their mysteries.

Product Description

Each year, thousands of pilgrims visit the celebrated New Orleans tomb where Marie Laveau is said to lie. They seek her favors or fear her lingering influence. Voodoo Queen: The Spirited Lives of Marie Laveau is the first study of the Laveaus, mother and daughter of the same name. Both were legendary leaders of religious and spiritual traditions many still label as evil.

The Laveaus were free women of color and prominent French-speaking Catholic Creoles. From the 1820s until the 1880s when one died and the other disappeared, gossip, fear, and fierce affection swirled about them. From the heart of the French Quarter, in dance, drumming, song, and spirit possession, they ruled the imagination of New Orleans.

How did the two Maries apply their "magical" powers and uncommon business sense to shift the course of love, luck, and the law? The women understood the real crime--they had pitted their spiritual forces against the slave system of the United States. Moses-like, they led their people out of bondage and offered protection and freedom to the community of color, rich white women, enslaved families, and men condemned to hang.

The curse of the Laveau family, however, followed them. Both loved men they could never marry. Both faced down the press and police who stalked them. Both countered the relentless gossip of curses, evil spirits, murders, and infant sacrifice with acts of benevolence.

The book is also a detective story--who is really buried in the famous tomb in the oldest "city of the dead" in New Orleans? What scandals did the Laveau family intend to keep buried there forever? By what sleight of hand did free people of color lose their cultural identity when Americans purchased Louisiana and imposed racial apartheid upon Creole creativity? Voodoo Queen brings the improbable testimonies of saints, spirits, and never-before printed eyewitness accounts of ceremonies and magical crafts together to illuminate the lives of the two Marie Laveaus, leaders of a major, indigenous American religion.
